ai by Chuck Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Wilcox Brand LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company d/b/a ai by Chuck ("ai by Chuck," "we," "us"), handles personal information through aibychuck.com, our phone line, email, texts and client services. We're a U.S. business serving mainly Pennsylvania and U.S. customers.
The short version: we never sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Contact and business information: name, business name, email, phone, address and the details you give us about your business.
- Billing information: payments are handled by Stripe. We don't store full card numbers.
- Form entries and emails you send us, including records of any consent you give (for example, to texts or to auto-renewal terms).
- Site data: pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and similar tools by our site platform, Wix, and Wix site analytics.
- Calls and texts: phone numbers, call times, voicemails, and, if we announce it at the start of the call, recordings and transcripts. If a client uses our phone services, we handle their callers' information the same way on the client's behalf. Pennsylvania generally requires consent from everyone on a call before it's recorded, so recorded lines play a notice first.
How we use it
- To answer you, provide and bill our services, and send service emails (confirmations, trial and renewal reminders, cancellations).
- To send marketing you agreed to.
- To keep records, prevent fraud, meet legal duties and improve our services.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as Stripe (payments), Wix (website), Quo (phone and texts) and our email provider, Google Workspace (Gmail), and only as needed for their work. We may also share it to comply with law or a valid legal request, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. We don't sell personal information or share it for others' advertising.
Email and texts
Our marketing emails include an unsubscribe link and our mailing address, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires, and we honor opt-outs promptly. We send marketing texts only to people who have agreed to receive them. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply. Consent to texts is never required to buy.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting duties. We keep records of auto-renewal consent for at least 3 years, as California's automatic renewal law requires, and text consent records for 5 years. Client content is deleted after the 30-day copy window following cancellation, except backups that roll off in the normal course, within 30 days.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as access controls and reputable providers, to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we don't claim any security certification.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. They aren't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's information.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of marketing, by emailing hello@aibychuck.com with the subject "Privacy request." We'll respond within a reasonable time and as the law in your state requires. We may need to verify your identity and keep some records the law requires.
Changes
We may update this policy by posting a new version here with a new effective date. If we make a material change, we'll tell clients by email.
